Vulnerability Overview
The Push Notification for Post and BuddyPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the PNFPB_icpushadmincallback_callback function hooked via a nopriv AJAX action in versions up to, and including, 1.63. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to dismiss admin notices.

Any user who can reach the endpoint gets to run an action reserved for higher-privileged roles, from reading protected data to changing settings or content. For Push Notification for Post and BuddyPress the fix is 1.64: builds < 1.64 are affected, anything from 1.64 onward is not.
