Vulnerability Overview

The Feedify – Web Push Notifications WordPress plugin is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the feedify_msg parameter found in the ~/includes/base.php file which allows attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts, in versions up to and including 2.1.8.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.1.9, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
