Vulnerability Overview

The Prismatic WordPress plugin before 2.8 does not escape the 'tab' GET parameter before outputting it back in an attribute, leading to a reflected Cross-Site Scripting issue which will be executed in the context of a logged in administrator

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.8, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
