Vulnerability Overview

Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the post highlights plugin versions 2.0 through 2.6 for WordPress allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the txt parameter in a headline action to ajax/ph_save.php.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.6.1, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
