Vulnerability Overview

The Poll Maker WordPress plugin is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the mcount parameter found in the ~/admin/partials/settings/poll-maker-settings.php file which allows attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts, in versions up to and including 3.2.8.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 3.2.9, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
