Vulnerability Overview

The Permalink Manager Lite plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data due to a missing capability check on the 'get_uri_editor' function in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.3.1. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to view the permalinks of all posts.

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.4.3.2, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-639 (Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key) The system's authorization functionality does not prevent one user from gaining access to another user's data or record by modifying the key value identifying the data.
