Vulnerability Overview

The Image optimization & Lazy Load by Optimole WordPress plugin before 3.3.2 does not sanitise and escape its "Lazyload background images for selectors" settings, which could allow high privilege users such as admin to perform Cross-Site scripting attacks even when the unfiltered_html capability is disallowed.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 3.3.2, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
