Vulnerability Overview

The WordPress Newsletter Plugin WordPress plugin before 1.6.5 does not validate the to parameter before redirecting the user to its given value, leading to an open redirect issue.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.6.5, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-601 (URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect')) The web application accepts a user-controlled input that specifies a link to an external site, and uses that link in a redirect.
