Vulnerability Overview

The ACF Photo Gallery Field WordPress plugin before 1.7.5 does not sanitise and escape the post parameter in the includes/acf_photo_gallery_metabox_edit.php file before outputing back in an attribute, leading to a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting issue

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.7.5, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
