Vulnerability Overview

The Multiple Domain plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 1.0.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the Canonical and Alternate Tags. This makes it possible for attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute in a victim's browser.

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.0.3, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
