Vulnerability Overview

The MStore API plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to 4.10.2 (exclusive). This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation in the templates/admin/mstore-api-admin-dashboard.php file. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload an Apple key file via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 4.10.2, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
