Vulnerability Overview

The Login rebuilder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to 1.2.0. This is due to missing nonce validation on the properties() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify the plugin's settings via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.2.0, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
