Vulnerability Overview

The Leyka plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in versions up to, and including, 3.30.2. This allows donors users to gain administrator access by setting the passwords for an administrator account when initially setting their password.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 3.30.3, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-639 (Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key) The system's authorization functionality does not prevent one user from gaining access to another user's data or record by modifying the key value identifying the data.
