Vulnerability Overview

The JVM WooCommerce Wishlist plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference via the 'user_id' parameter in versions up to, and including, 1.2.6. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to bypass authorization protocols and access otherwise restricted system resources.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.2.7, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-639 (Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key) The system's authorization functionality does not prevent one user from gaining access to another user's data or record by modifying the key value identifying the data.
