Vulnerability Overview

The JivoChat Live Chat WordPress plugin before 1.3.5.4 does not properly check CSRF tokens on POST requests to the plugins admin page, and does not sanitise some parameters, leading to a stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability where an attacker can trick a logged in administrator to inject arbitrary javascript.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.3.5.4, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
