Vulnerability Overview

The Insert Pages WordPress plugin before 3.7.0 adds a shortcode that prints out other pages' content and custom fields. It can be used by users with a role as low as Contributor to perform Cross-Site Scripting attacks by storing the payload/s in another post's custom fields.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 3.7.0, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
