Vulnerability Overview

The InBoundio Marketing plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation via the csv_uploader.php file in versions before 2.0.1. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files on the affected sites server which may make remote code execution possible.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.0.1, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-434 (Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type) The product allows the upload or transfer of dangerous file types that are automatically processed within its environment.
