Vulnerability Overview

The Import XML and RSS Feeds plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 2.0.2 via the data parameter in a moove_read_xml action.

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.0.3, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-918 (Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF)) The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination.
