Vulnerability Overview

The Image Regenerate & Select Crop plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to cross-site request forgery due to missing nonce checks on multiple AJAX functions in versions up to, and including, 7.1.0. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers to bulk rename, process, and delete image files.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 7.2.0, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
