Vulnerability Overview

The If-So Dynamic Content Personalization plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the edd_ifso_clear_license() function in versions up to, and including, 1.7.1. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to clear licenses.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.7.1.1, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-862 (Missing Authorization) The product does not perform an authorization check when an actor attempts to access a resource or perform an action.
