Vulnerability Overview

The Popups, Welcome Bar, Optins and Lead Generation Plugin WordPress plugin before 2.1.8 does not sanitize and escape some campaign parameters, which could allow users with a role as low as contributor to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.1.8, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
