Vulnerability Overview

The GoDaddy Email Marketing plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions before 1.1.4. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation in the page_load function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to caused all the data associate with the plugin to be deleted via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.1.4, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
