The GiveWP – Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Payment Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.8.1. This is due to a lack of server-side payment verification. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to bypass payments.

None of that substitutes for the fix: GiveWP 4.16.9 closes this, and updating the plugin is the step that ends it.
