Vulnerability Overview

The GdeSlon Affiliate Shop plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Open Redirect in versions up to, and including, 1.5.5 via the go.php file. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to redirect users with contributer-level permissions and above to a potentially malicious website where they can gather sensitive user information for future attacks.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.0, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-601 (URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect')) The web application accepts a user-controlled input that specifies a link to an external site, and uses that link in a redirect.
