CWE-1236: Improper Neutralization of Formula Elements in a CSV File

The product saves user-provided information into a Comma-Separated Value (CSV) file, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could be interpreted as a command when the file is opened by a spreadsheet product.

Remediation

Update to version 4.3.13, or a newer patched version

How does WordSec protect against this?

The attempt arrives as an ordinary request to Fluent Forms: WordSec's web application firewall inspects request payloads before WordPress loads them. None of that substitutes for the fix: Fluent Forms 4.3.13 closes this, and updating the plugin is the step that ends it.
