Vulnerability Overview

Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in the WP-FeedStats before 2.4 plugin for WordPress allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via unspecified vectors, one of which involves an rss2 feed with an invalid or missing blog with an XSS sequence in the query string.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.4, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
