Vulnerability Overview

The Pixel Cat – Conversion Pixel Manager WordPress plugin before 2.6.2 does not have CSRF check when saving its settings, and did not sanitise as well as escape some of them, which could allow attacker to make a logged in admin change them and perform Cross-Site Scripting attacks

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.6.2, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
