Vulnerability Overview

The Export Users Data CSV plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to CSV Injection in versions up to, and including, 2.1. This allows subscriber-level attackers to embed untrusted input into exported CSV files, which can result in code execution when these files are downloaded and opened on a local system with a vulnerable configuration.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.2, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-74 (Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream Component ('Injection')) The product constructs all or part of a command, data structure, or record using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify how it is parsed or interpreted when it is sent to a downstream component.
