Vulnerability Overview

The Events Manager WordPress plugin before 5.9.8 does not sanitise and escape some search parameter before outputing them in pages, which could lead to Cross-Site Scripting issues

REMEDIATION: Update to version 5.9.8, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
