Vulnerability Overview

The Event Tickets and Registration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Information Exposure in all versions up to 5.8.0 (free) & 5.9.1 (premium). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to view events they should not have access to such as password protected and trashed events.

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 5.9.1, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-862 (Missing Authorization) The product does not perform an authorization check when an actor attempts to access a resource or perform an action.
