Vulnerability Overview

The Event List WordPress plugin through 0.8.8 does not sanitise and escape some of its settings, allowing high privilege users such as admin to perform Cross-Site Scripting attacks against other admin even when the unfiltered_html is disallowed

REMEDIATION: Update to version 0.8.8, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
