Vulnerability Overview

The Download Plugin WordPress plugin before 1.6.1 does not have capability and CSRF checks in the dpwap_plugin_activate AJAX action, allowing any authenticated users, such as subscribers, to activate plugins that are already installed.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.6.1, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
