Vulnerability Overview

An issue was discovered in the dark-mode plugin 1.6 for WordPress. XSS exists via the wp-admin/profile.php dark_mode_start parameter.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.7, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
