Daisycon prijsvergelijkers <= 4.8.4 - Authenticated (Contributor+) SQL Injection
Strategic Overview
<= 4.8.4CVE-2025-32148Vulnerability Overview
The Daisycon prijsvergelijkers plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection in versions up to, and including, 4.8.4 due to insufficient escaping on the profile_id user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
Technical Analysis
REMEDIATION: Update to version 4.9.0, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-89 (Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection')) The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Without sufficient removal or quoting of SQL syntax in user-controllable inputs, the generated SQL query can cause those inputs to be interpreted as SQL instead of ordinary user data.
