Vulnerability Overview

A CSRF vulnerability in the RegistrationMagic plugin through 4.6.0.3 for WordPress allows remote attackers to forge requests on behalf of a site administrator to change all settings for the plugin, including deleting users, creating new roles with escalated privileges, and allowing PHP file uploads via forms.

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 4.6.0.4, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
