Vulnerability Overview

Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in dex_reservations.php in the CP Reservation Calendar plugin before 1.1.7 for WordPress allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) id parameter in a dex_reservations_calendar_load2 action or (2) dex_item parameter in a dex_reservations_check_posted_data action in a request to the default URI.

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.1.7, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-89 (Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection')) The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Without sufficient removal or quoting of SQL syntax in user-controllable inputs, the generated SQL query can cause those inputs to be interpreted as SQL instead of ordinary user data.
