Vulnerability Overview

The Polls CP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Poll Limit Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.71. This is due to insufficient controls on on the voting system. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to vote multiple times.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.0.72, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-639 (Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key) The system's authorization functionality does not prevent one user from gaining access to another user's data or record by modifying the key value identifying the data.
