Vulnerability Overview

The Contact Form With Captcha WordPress plugin is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing nonce validation in the ~/cfwc-form.php file during contact form submission, which made it possible for attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in versions up to, and including 1.6.7.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.6.8, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
