Vulnerability Overview

The Compact WP Audio Player WordPress plugin before 1.9.7 does not implement nonce checks, which could allow attackers to make a logged in admin change the "Disable Simultaneous Play" setting via a CSRF attack.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.9.7, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
