Vulnerability Overview

The Community Events WordPress plugin before 1.4.8 does not sanitise, validate or escape its importrowscount and successimportcount GET parameters before outputting them back in an admin page, leading to a reflected Cross-Site Scripting issue which will be executed in the context of a logged in administrator

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.4.8, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
