Vulnerability Overview

The Coming soon and Maintenance mode WordPress plugin before 3.6.8 does not have CSRF check in its coming_soon_send_mail AJAX action, allowing attackers to make logged in admin to send arbitrary emails to all subscribed users via a CSRF attack

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 3.6.8, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
