Vulnerability Overview

Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Contact Form Clean and Simple (clean-and-simple-contact-form-by-meg-nicholas) plugin 4.4.0 and earlier for WordPress allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the cscf[name] parameter to contact-us/.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 4.4.1, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
