Strategic Overview
< 14.6.10CVE-2015-9333Vulnerability Overview
The cforms2 plugin before 14.6.10 for WordPress has SQL injection via several parameters.
Technical Analysis
REMEDIATION: Update to version 14.6.10, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-89 (Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection')) The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Without sufficient removal or quoting of SQL syntax in user-controllable inputs, the generated SQL query can cause those inputs to be interpreted as SQL instead of ordinary user data.
