Vulnerability Overview

The Availability Calendar WordPress plugin before 1.2.2 does not sanitise or escape its Category Names before outputting them in page/post where the associated shortcode is embed, allowing high privilege users to perform Cross-Site Scripting attacks even when the unfiltered_html is disallowed

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.2.2, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
