APA Register Newsletter Form <= 1.0.0 - Cross-Site Request Forgery to SQL Injection
Strategic Overview
<= 1.0.0CVE-2024-49621Vulnerability Overview
The APA Register Newsletter Form plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 1.0.0. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on one of its functions. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious SQL used in a query via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Since the attacker will not get a response, the exploitation possibilities are limited.
