The Album and Image Gallery plus Lightbox plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 1.6.2. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on two of its AJAX actions. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to change attributes of images used by the plugin in slideshows, via forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.6.3, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)) The web application does not, or cannot, sufficiently verify whether a request was intentionally provided by the user who sent the request, which could have originated from an unauthorized actor.
