Vulnerability Overview

Open redirect vulnerability in age-verification.php in the Age Verification plugin 0.4 and earlier for WordPress allows remote attackers to redirect users to arbitrary web sites and conduct phishing attacks via a URL in the redirect_to parameter.

Technical Analysis

REMEDIATION: Update to version 0.5, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-601 (URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect')) The web application accepts a user-controlled input that specifies a link to an external site, and uses that link in a redirect.
