Vulnerability Overview

The Affiliates Manager WordPress plugin before 2.9.0 does not validate, sanitise and escape the IP address of requests logged by the click tracking feature, allowing unauthenticated attackers to perform Cross-Site Scripting attacks against admin viewing the tracked requests.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 2.9.0, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
