Vulnerability Overview

The Affiliate Ads for Clickbank Products plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'border_color' parameter found in the text_ads_ajax.php file in versions up to to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.7, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
