Vulnerability Overview

The Advance Search WordPress plugin is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the wpas_id parameter found in the ~/inc/admin/views/html-advance-search-admin-options.php file which allows attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts, in versions up to and including 1.1.2.

REMEDIATION: Update to version 1.1.3, or a newer patched version --- IDENTIFIER: CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')) The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users.
